Fall Mountain Adventure

Very nicely laid out Resort. Fantastic Bathroom/Shower House that was heated for the 28 degree morning. Very spacious, level, gravel sites. This was my first long trip from home and first back in site and it couldn't have been easier. Very close to all the waterfalls and scenic mountain routes. Very nice fenced dog area, community fire pit and playground area. Trees are planted that will provide shade during the summer months to come. Staff was very friendly. I drove 5hrs to see the changing leaves and couldn't be happier.

secret gem

We visited Willow Valley in May, right after they opened. We enjoyed it so much we just spent another week there. It is brand new and everything is clean and fresh. A beautiful setting in a valley surrounded by mountains. There are 6 bathrooms with showers and facilities in each. They are immaculate. A laundry room that is also large and clean. First time we stayed so longer and used washer and dryer. We did not have children with us but many things to do. A pool, playground, horse shoes, activities. It was so sweet to see them ride their bikes around the park, making new friends like we did when we were young. It is also a great base for all the wonderful sites in the N GA mountains. Clayton is a hopping place with shopping and restraunts. Many wineries nearby. 12 Spies and Horsecreek were 2 favs. Most have music on weekends. We climbed brasstown Bald, Bell mountain and Wayah. Stunning views. Visited Highlands, Hiawassee and Helen ( for tubing). Tallulah Gorge is nearby. The secret is out. This place was packed for Labor Day. The owners are onsite and want to assure you have a great stay. Booked our next stay before we left.

A View of the pasture with horses

This place was first class all the way. The staff could?ve been more pleasant or more helpful . Just minutes from downtown Clayton all the convenience in your backyard . Out your window is a pasture full of Beautiful horses with the mountains in the background . Very peaceful and relaxing . We will be back soon .
