Fantastically friendly staff! We stayed on Lot 42 near the creek. Beautiful oaks provide ample shade around the site. Dog park is a great addition to let the pooches run around. Bath houses are clean and the convenient store at the front gate has almost everything you need, except graham crackers! We had great cell reception and the wifi was fantastic! Wish the Braves and the Bulldogs as good!
100% of the users found this review helpful. We have stayed at Savannah Oaks several times during trips up north from Florida or when visiting Savannah. It is convenient, clean, quiet and wooded with full hookup and pull through sites. Staff is friendly and escorts you to your site. We stay in the back area and don't hear the traffic. The pool is a plus in hot weather.

100% of the users found this review helpful. The staff was good with check in. The park Has trees everywhere, Which is a big Plus for me. The only problem I had was bad internet speed. It was slow when you you lucky enough to connect during the day and impossible at night till after 12. The only reason I can travel is I can work remotely. So the lack of internet was a major problem for me. I would have to leave the park and go find internet so I could work.
0% of the users found this review helpful. This campground is very nice. Our lot was level and clean. The office staff is friendly. The pool area was clean. We didn't use the facilities so can't comment about them. Close to Savannah and I95. Will definitely stay again.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Nice Campground. Just need benches inside bath houses.
0% of the users found this review helpful. We stopped over once again for a night on a return trip. Our site this time was in a different section of the cmpd. and we loved it. Easy access off of I-95, site was level and hook up location was perfect. Also, they did not have low limb trees which is always a concern as our rig is really tall. This is our planned stop for all future trips between home and Florida. The ladies in office were very nice as well. We did not need the facilities, so I can not comment on that.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Spent 3 nights, very quiet, peaceful, clean, 20 minute drive to downturn Savannah. No problem staying there again.
0% of the users found this review helpful. No automation anywhere, only real human people who were so nice. Easy to make reservations and to register. Appreciated so much being escorted to our campsite. Would highly recommend Savannah Oaks. Thank you!
0% of the users found this review helpful.Location great for Savannah. Staff very courteous and most were helpful. When we arrived we were told owners had left and didn?t pay wifi bill. Wifi service was poor, on next to last day only two dryers of six were working, about three washers not working and no apparent effort to repair. We used electrical service on our neighbors site.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Loved this campground. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Drove us to our campsites. Bathrooms are clean and very nice. Need some benches for us old people to set on to put our clothes on but other than that very nice. This campground is close to everything.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Close to Savannah, but I wasn't able to get out much as I was working most of the time I was there. I walked around the park several times, it's well maintained, quiet and clean. Nice showers too.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Nice quiet park clean and secure with adequate facilities, far enough away from hustle bustle of Savannah but close enough to sight see or tour the many attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
0% of the users found this review helpful. The staff is very friendly. It's an older park, but some of the facilities have been re-done recently. The bathroom/showers were very nice, although a small bench and a better soap dish would be helpful. If you like fishing it backs up to a stream. Too many trees to get a satellite signal, but there is working cable. There is road noise during the day, but almost nothing at night. There are several seasonal/full timers there. Nearly all of those rigs were well kept. We started out expecting 2 weeks, but liked it enough to go for 4 weeks.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Very friendly staff. Grounds are a little dated but sufficient. Was able to get my 45 ft in and out easily. Good shade from large trees. Still able to get satellite reception. Nice fishing spot if your so inclined. Didnt use restrooms. Nice, new kid park.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Wish I could give this park more stars, but I can?t. Our first visit there. When we arrived, we experienced electrical problems. If the camper 2 sites down from us had not been there we would have been in a mess. He was a retired Marine Corp electrian. The campground owner did not want to take responsibility for our electrical panel box not working. The box had no juice. The camper 2 sites down came over to help fix the box AND our generator. The cg is rustic & pleasant. Lots of road noise. Would not stay there again.
0% of the users found this review helpful.Wonderful, accommodating staff. Park is pleasant.
0% of the users found this review helpful.there is a problem in the bathrooms. There is no safety pad on the new tile that is very very slippery when wet and especially from the soap. Also a soap dish would make things nicer as well. Otherwise you have a very nice campground.
0% of the users found this review helpful. This is a peaceful, quiet resort with a very friendly & helpful staff. Beautiful trees. The shade was plentiful and kept our RV nice & cool. The free shuttle to the trolley service in Savannah was a plus. We really enjoyed our weekend at Savannah Oaks and will definitely make this stop again when we are down that way.
0% of the users found this review helpful. We used a pull thru site that was convenient to I 95 and easy to set up and break down. The staff was accessible and accommodating. We will definitely return for a longer stay and a visit to Savannah.
0% of the users found this review helpful. This is a campground with a down-home feel. Nothing fancy but everything you need is there and the employees are very nice We used the updated pool which was lovely and surrounded by chaise lounges and umbrellas. The dog yard was fairly large and grassy and cleaner than most. The playground was quite large and the equipment looked newer. The store was handy and the ice cream was awesome
0% of the users found this review helpful. We were involved in an accident with our RV which necessitated us in changing the date of our reservation by two weeks. When I called Savannah Oaks and explained our situation, they were very understanding and complied with our request on short notice. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and over the top concern. We were quickly escorted to our site and assisted in our set-up. We have stayed at many RV resorts over the years and found this to be one of the most cordial in memory. The facility itself was excellent, and although there are many trees, obvious by the name, the Oak trees with the Spanish moss gave the resort a very attractive southern appeal. Restrooms were top notch. Would definitely stay there again, hopefully under better situational conditions.

100% of the users found this review helpful.Book online without any prior exposure. We couldn't have been treated better. While no campground is perfect, this place served our purposes for five days without any complaints. We would be happy to do it again.
100% of the users found this review helpful.Although the staff was very friendly, we had a miserable time. We left 3 days early and do not plan on ever going back. There was absolutely nothing to do there except the pool which honestly left much to be desired. The bugs, (particularly) the gnats were so horrendous you could not sit outside for even a minute, They were in your ears and eyes within seconds. The wifi was terrible, you could not stay connected for more than a minute at a time, We had absolutely no cell service and had to leave the property to make calls. This was not our idea of fun. I must say that the hand dipped ice cream was very good.
50% of the users found this review helpful. We were there for a week and loved it, close to everything including downtown Savannah. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and showers, great location off I95. Would stay here again
100% of the users found this review helpful. We enjoyed our stay in this nicely wooded park. We survived two torrential downpours and it never had an impact on our unit. We would gladly return here next trip to the area.
100% of the users found this review helpful. This campground offers good shade, a nice swimming pool and friendly staff. The staff was always seen taking care of the park and made sure everything was clean. We will stay here again when we are in the area.
100% of the users found this review helpful. We have stayed here many times. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Close to Savannah. Lots of shade. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice private bathroom/shower room.
100% of the users found this review helpful. We met another couple for a week and picked this campground because it looked lovely with the trees. We found that it was beautiful and the people who ran the park were so friendly and helpful. We didn't need a lot of amenities, just the friends around us so we didn't even have time for the pool, though it did look lovely. Was about 20 mins to downtown Savannah, though if you wanted to take the hop on hop off bus it came right to the park. I will stay there again if I pass that way.
100% of the users found this review helpful. We stayed at Savannah Oaks in a motorhome. We stayed on the lower part of the campground which is really pretty when parked facing woods. There is also a walk down by a lake that feeds into the river. Full hookups and everything worked well. The campground was full when we were there. The sites are small, but we were in a pull through and they stagger the motorhomes so it feels like you have more room. Pads are gravel and ours was level. Everything is pretty old, needs some TLC.
100% of the users found this review helpful. It is billed as a rv resort. Quality is more of a campground. We arrived at their gas station/office and checked in. Tight spot for our 5th wheel but got in. We noticed the almost continous road noise from 55 mph road 120 feet away. It was annoying but many other sites were even closer to road. We just kept the windows closed. The first night our RV shook from the nearby artillery or tank ranges from 8 pm to 2 am. The campground light over our trailer did cut the need for interior rv lighting use alot. The pool was closed the entire time (6 days) we were here. Did not use their internet. Their cable is Dish and our tv had the channel number on the center of the screen and our tv kept turned off every 30 minutes. This did not happen when we use our dish satellite system. Not sure the issue was their router or our TV but this is the first and only campsite it happen. We tried to leave after first night. '"Our policy is no refund". You can leave"" but you would lose 5 more pre-paid camping nights. "No exceptions."" Camp roads are mostly dirt or gravel and rough. Needless to say we will never be coming back. A few pluses. Staff was friendly and the hand dipped ice cream in gas station was awesome.
0% of the users found this review helpful. We stayed at savannah oaks RV resort. It was lovely we checked in at 8:00 pm staff took us to our site explaining the hook ups. Next morning we took the trolly to savannah for sure seeing. Washroom/showers were beautiful new and clean. I like that each bathroom shower is alone all in one. Only issue we encountered was wifi was difficult to stay on. We would definitely go back
100% of the users found this review helpful.Great customer service! Accommodating was super easy and fast. The bathrooms are super clean, they seem to be recently renovated. The park is clean and very quiet during the night. My only complaint is the WIFI it couldn?t connect during my stay. Other than that my family enjoyed the stay.
100% of the users found this review helpful.Want to let the staff at Savannah Oaks Rv Resort in Georgia know that they earned 10 stars during our visit. They went out of their way to accommodate us when our truck broke down 500 miles from our home. They made sure we had a spot to park our 5th wheel and worked with us on a day to day basis until we had the truck repaired. By far, the most pleasant and helpful staff we have ever dealt with in our 15 years of rv camping. Thank you all.
