Your campsite here is just 5 miles from the soaring alpine landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park.
At 7,500 feet, this campground is an ideal base camp for exploring the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. During peak summer months, take a free shuttle to the town (1.5 miles away) to check out the quaint shops, festivals, art fairs and cowboy sing-alongs. Spend a day at the national park to appreciate its pristine wilderness, endless hiking trails and plenty of elk, moose and deer. Drive Trail Ridge Road for panoramic views from 12,000 feet. Across the street from this KOA you'll find Lake Estes and the Big Thompson River. Rent fishing gear, bikes and/or boats at the marina. Go horseback riding next door. Just down the road is a family fun park with mini golf, bumper cars or bumper boats and rock climbing. Enjoy on-site pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials and free marshmallow roasts. Love this place!!!

Estes Park KOA is absolutely an awesome place to hang out with your family making memories!! We stayed here for a couple weeks in August last year, and still talk about all the good times we had at the RV Resort ? drinking some local wine from the Camp Store, listening to some really good live music at the pavilion (all lit up with lights which I love), and talking with the super nice owners and staff, to name a few.... Gotta take a photo at the huge adirondack at the top of the park ? with an amazing view of Long?s Peak in the back. Just a really cool spot all around!!
